Board-certified physician Kashif Alvi, MD, is well known as one of the leading urologists in Arizona. With his extensive experience in both male and female urology, Dr. Alvi offers cutting-edge care for prostate cancer, bladder cancer, kidney stones, kidney cancer, pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, and other conditions and problems affecting the urinary and reproductive systems at Urologic Surgeons of Arizona in Mesa and Chandler, Arizona.

Dr. Alvi is a top-ranked robotic surgeon who’s always up-to-date on the latest techniques and procedures. He’s one of a handful of physicians performing robotic cystectomy in Arizona. He uses a conservative, evidence-based approach to patient care. Dr. Alvi delivers the most high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) treatments (the latest prostate cancer treatment) in Arizona, and his Rezūm™ skills make Urologic Surgeons of Arizona the only Rezūm center of excellence on the entire West Coast. 

Dr. Alvi completed medical school at King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan, and then finished two years of advanced training at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. He went on to finish his urology residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, part of Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. The hospital has been ranked the No. 1 hospital nationwide numerous times by US News & World Report. After completing his residency, Dr. Alvi worked as a faculty member in the urology department at Massachusetts General Hospital.

In addition to being a caring and supportive physician, Dr. Alvi is a family man who enjoys following sports like football and soccer. He travels regularly and is a sought-after academic lecturer in the United States and abroad.
